STUDY ABROAD
Although we love the Adirondacks, we encourage our students to seek study internationally. Students can choose to go somewhere during the break between fall and spring semester, during a regular semester, or during the summer.
In the past our students have volunteered at a primate reserve in South America, studied wildlife management in Africa, explored ecological restoration in Ethiopia, and conducted ecological research in Russia – just to name a few!
Thanks to the generosity of Mr. Sterling Tomkins, most of our students receive scholarships to help defray travel and tuition costs when they study internationally.
Professor Deb Naybor, International Programs Advisor, is also available for assistance. Learn more at our Study Abroad page.
CLASSES LED BY 冰球突破mg平台 FACULTY
In recent years, Paul Smith’s students have visited a variety of places on earth including Ethiopia, the Czech Republic, the Galapagos, and more. Many trips are focused on the ecology of the systems, but they may also focus on learning about another culture.
COLLABORATION WITH OTHER INSTITUTIONS
Paul Smith’s faculty help students finding the right study abroad opportunity. You might study abroad for a few weeks to entire semester. With pre-approval, you may be able to transfer credits back to your degree. Students have studied in Iceland, Mexico, Africa and other countries. Partners have included Operation Wallacea and others.
